Not only that, but the food was so expensive, I couldn't just buy it, try it, and hoped I liked it. I did research. But sometimes I just had to bite the bullet and buy the food.
Sometimes it turned out well, sometimes not so well. I'm going to compile a list of all the gluten-free brands I've tried and my review of them. I will also be constantly updating this page.
I hope this helps you on your journey to living a gluten-free lifestyle!
Pasta:
- Quinoa pasta - This is my go-to brand and buy it whenever possible. I also feed it to my family & they can't tell a difference.
- Mrs. Leeper's Corn Spaghetti - I have only used this once, but it was really good. The texture was great and it was really easy to cook.
- Quaker's Caramel Rice Cakes - I liked these before I found out that I had to stay away from gluten. They are really good for a quick snack.
- Chip'ins - LOVE. I love these. Anytime I'm at Whole Foods I make sure to pick up a bag.
- Chex Cereals - One of my favorites. I love the cinnamon flavor. The rice one is also very good.
- Panda Puffs - These are pretty good. Before, I used to eat Peanut Butter Crunch like it was going out of style. Panda Puffs are a good replacement when I crave that peanut butter cereal.
- Udi's - Everything I've had of Udi's has been great. I love buying the pizza crusts, keeping them in the freezer and then using them whenever my family orders pizza. I'm also a big fan of the cinnamon raisin bagels.
